CVS employees injured after car crashes into Easton store

A 75-year-old Easton woman has been charged, after reportedly crashing her vehicle into a CVS store in Easton.

According to Easton Police, Officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy on Ocean Gateway, just before 1:00 PM on Wednesday. Police say, Patricia Roe hit the gas instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to crash into the store.

Several CVS employees were apparently hit by falling shelving during the crash, but reportedly refused treatment.

Police say the Town of Easton Building Inspector deemed the store safe for business after the incident.

Roe was reportedly taken to Easton Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. She was cited by Police for driving her vehicle in a negligent manner.
