Car crash brings down power lines in Del.

Delaware State Police say they’re investigating after a driver hit an electrical pole in Middleton, bringing down power lines.

Delaware State Police say it happened Saturday around 3:30 p.m. at 800 Silver Run Road east of Vance Neck Road. State Police says the driver was uninjured but that alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.

State Police says both directions of Silver Run Road in the area of the crash are closed. Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes around the scene.
