Camden man charged with burglary in Dover

A Camden man is facing charges, after Police say he broke into a Dover home, and pinned the resident.
Dover Police say early Thursday morning, 28-year-old Michael Spencer went to a home on Pine Valley Road, after being told not to be there. According to the report, Spencer knocked, and the woman inside to him to leave, but he in-turn refused, and removed a window screen, and made his way into the home through a window. The victim apparently contacted 911.
Police say once inside, Spencer took the victim’s cellphone, and threw it at her television, breaking both. He then reportedly threw the victim to the floor, and pinned her there by her head.
Once Officers arrived on scene, they say they Spencer in the driveway, and took him into custody. He was then charged with 2nd degree burglary, malicious interference with 911, criminal mischief, and offensive touching. Spencer was later released on a $7,000 bond.
