Cambridge Completes Comeback vs. Harford Christian

The Cambridge SD boys basketball team overcame a slow start to defeat Harford Christian 64-52. With the win, the Vikings claimed the title for their bracket in the Governor’s Challenge.
Harford Christian came out strong to open the game and would build a 28-16 lead by the second quarter. The Vikings then responded with a 18-0 run and would take the lead halfway through the 3rd quarter. Michael Richardson would find his shooting touch and convert several shots at the basket on his way to a game high 21 points. Just before the buzzer of the end of the 3rd quarter, Darius Woolford hit a three to give them a 12 point lead headed to the 4th. Harford Christian went on one last run but the Vikings were able to close out the game for the win. Emory Wongus would finish with 6 points and 8 rebounds for the Vikings, while Zekhai Cornish added 10 points and Dre Greene added 6 points to go along with 11 rebounds and Ivan Taylor had 15 points and 10 boards.
