Caesar Rodney school official stepping down

In Delaware, the Caesar Rodney School District announced today, that after 30 years, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey “Scott” Lykens has announced he will retire at the end of the year.

Officials say Dr. Lykens worked in the Caesar Rodney School District for his entire education career.

Dr. Lykens will reportedly begin working full time for the University of Delaware.

He will be developing the University’s Southern program at Delaware Technical and Community College’s Owens Campus

He is also set to teach classes in January.
