47 ABC to look into carbon monoxide poisoning

Carbon Monoxide, also known as the Invisible Killer. It gets it name because it’s colorless and odorless, but extremely poisonous.
Each year more than 150 people die from carbon monoxide poisoning according the consumer product safety commission.
Usually, the cause of the carbon monoxide poisoning comes from accidental use of consumer products, mainly generators.
Earlier this year, a local family lost their life that way.
So with cold weather approaching, 47 ABC will look into carbon monoxide poisoning Wednesday and tell you how you can prevent yourself from becoming the next victim of the silent killer.
