UPDATE: Selbyville teen charged in Worcester County crash

Troopers with Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack say, they were on scene at a serious crash in Whaleyville that sent five to the hospital.

According to reports, troopers responded to Route 610 and Murray Road around 9:30 P.M. Thursday, for reports of a head on collision. Reports say, 18-year-old Victoria Dill, of Selbyville crossed the center line for unknown reasons and struck the vehicle of 55-year-old Pamela Miller, of Bethel. Miller’s vehicle reportedly left the roadway and overturned in a ditch. Dill’s vehicle reportedly remained in the roadway with heavy front end damage. Authorities say, all of the vehicle’s occupants needed to be extracted from the vehicles.

Both drivers as well as three passengers in Dill’s vehicle, ranged from age 16 to 25, were transported to PRMC.

Dill now faces charges of failure to drive right of center, negligent driving, and reckless driving.
