UPDATE: Private jet makes an emergency landing at Salisbury airport

A private jet made an emergency landing at the Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport on Sunday afternoon.

According to an airport official, two pilots and two passengers were on board the private jet headed to Cambridge when it diverted to the regional airport in Salisbury after a reported hydraulics failure.

The jet landed safely at the airport around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

No injuries were reported from the landing.

Agencies including the Salisbury barrack of the Maryland State Police and Salisbury Fire Department were on the scene as a precaution.
