UPDATE: MSP investigate crash along Whaleyville Road

Troopers have confirmed five people were taken to the hospital following a serious two-vehicle crash along Whaleyville Road.

According to police on scene, one person was in one vehicle that overturned, and four people were in a second vehicle.

Troopers say all five people were transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Whaleyville Road at the scene of the crash has since been reopened.
