UPDATE: Man hospitalized after falling into Silo in Sussex Co.

A man was hospitalized after falling into a grain silo in Sussex County Monday afternoon.
According to a spokesman from Delaware State Police, they responded to Owl’s Nest Road Monday morning after a man fell into a silo.
The 57 year-old Seaford man was apparently cleaning an entry way to the silo with another associate when he fell about 30 feet onto the grain inside. Police say the man was unconscious for a few minutes initially, but is awake now. He has reportedly complained of an apparent minor injury.
According to officials with the Seaford Fire Department, the man was taken out of the silo Monday afternoon. Police say he was flown to Christiana Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
