A Crisfield felon is behind bars, after Police say he was found with a shotgun.

Crisfield Police say on Saturday, around 3:45 PM, Officers responded to the Crisfield Housing Authority for reports of an armed person. Once on scene, Police say they found a green Mercury Marquis parked near 140 Somers Cove Apartment, with a familiar face inside.

According to the report, the man inside the car, 29-year-old Gary “Man” Jones, is a known member of the bloods, and matched the description of the armed person given to dispatch. Police say as they walked up to the car, they noticed a shotgun next to the driver’s seat.

Jones was then apparently ordered to the ground, but he reportedly didn’t obey, and had to be forcibly taken into custody. Police say the shotgun was a Stevens model 320, 12 gauge shotgun, with an obliterated serial number that had one round chambered to fire, four rounds in the magazine, and 2 more rounds on the stock of the magazine.

Jones, a convicted felon, is barred from possessing a weapon or ammunition.
