UPDATE: Body found in Dover industrial park identified

Police in Dover say there is no foul play suspected in the death of a man found dead in an industrial park, Tuesday morning.

Dover Police say they received a call just after 10:00 AM Tuesday. Police reportedly found the body of a man, later identified as 55-year-old Clifford Cannon, in the parking lot of Tudor Industrial Park, on Otis Drive.

He was found lying on the ground next to Actor’s Attic and a covered utility trailer. According to police there was no indications as to how the man died, but a preliminary autopsy has apparently revealed that there is no foul play suspected in his death.

The body is in the custody of the Medical Examiner’s Office. They are reportedly conducting toxicology testing a process that can take several weeks for results.

Police say at this time, they believe that the business park is safe, and there is no threat to public safety at this time. Officials say they have determined that the cause of death was not a result of foul play. Businesses and activities in the park remain open and are safe to attend.
