Thanksgiving For Thousand packing party

Hundreds of volunteers came out on Monday, to the Thanksgiving for thousands packing day at Mountaire Farms in Selbyville.

According to a company spokesperson, more than 7,100 boxes were packed by over 320.

Every box contained a Mountaire Roaster and all the fixings for a Thanksgiving Dinner for a family. We’re told the boxes will be distributed in three locations across Delmarva, in order to supply dinner to families in need.

This is the 21st annual effort, and officials say the need grows every year.
