Snow Hill girls soccer bests Cambridge, move to regional final

The Snow Hill girls soccer team advanced to the regional final this afternoon, defeating Cambridge South Dorchester 1-0 in the new stadium on the campus of Snow Hill High.

After a scoreless first half, fearing some marvelous saves by Cambridge keeper Kaylie Seabrease, the Eagles broke through with just over 25 minutes remaining in the second half, with Kelsey Hall finding Rylee Covington in front of a diving Seabrease. Even with the lead, Snow Hill kept a attacking, forcing Cambridge very few offensive chances, and forcing Seabrease to continue to make save after save, and ultimately pushing to a 1-0 win.

The Eagles move to the regional championship where they will host Patterson Mill next Tuesday, November 10th at 5:30 pm.
