Rams Run Ends In Regional Championship By Fallston

The Parkside boys soccer team’s season ended Tuesday night with a tough 2-0 loss to Fallston in the regional championship game. The Rams ended the season with a 10-4 record.
The Rams and Cougars would exchange possession early on, with Fallston being able to generate a few more good looks. The Rams defense would answer the bell when called upon, led by Justin Ball in goal who came up with a few great saves. The Rams struggled controlling the ball at midfield though, and were forced to use it’s shot attempts from two far out to ever have a real shot at finishing. The teams would go to half scoreless, and the game would remain that way for most the second half. Finally with 20 minutes to go, the Cougars would have a corner that would get volleyed home by Trent Hoffmeister. Then with 10 minutes later, contact in the box would draw a penalty kick for the Cougars, that would be fired home for the final score of the game.
