Power outages affect hundreds in Wicomico Co.

Over 1,600 people are currently without power in Wicomico County, due to equipment problems.

According to officials with Delmarva Power, they are dealing with three outages on Thursday afternoon.

Officials say in the area of Hebron and Quantico, about 1,051 people are without power because of a circuit breaker problem. The estimated time for power to be restored is around 4:00 PM.

In Salisbury, officials say in the area of Snow Hill Road and Johnson Road, around 627 people are without power because of an equipment problem. Power there is expected to be returned by 5:00 PM.

The final outage is in the area of Nutters Cross Road. Officials say they are dealing with a blown fuse. About 47 people lost power around 2:54 PM. Power is expected to be restored there by 6:00 PM.
