Police: Overnight shooting sends one to hospital

Police are investigating after a shooting sent one man to the hospital.

According to Salisbury Police, the incident happened around midnight Sunday on the 400 block of Patterson Avenue.

Captain Richard Kaiser of the Salisbury Police tells 47ABC the male suspect and victim knew each other.

The victim was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Police say he suffered non life-threatening injuries. He has been treated and released.

The suspect was arrested on the scene.

Police have not released the names of the suspect or victim.
