Parkside Girls Soccer Season Ends By Fallston

The Parkside girls soccer team saw their season come to an end Tuesday night in the regional championship game against Fallston when they fell 3-0. The Rams closed out the season with a 12-3.

The Rams were playing on their heels from the start as the Cougars came out firing. Fallston would control the ball possession in the first half, generating several good scoring opportunities but the Rams “bend but not break” defense was able to keep them scoreless at the half. Miyuki Schoyen came up with several saves for the Rams as it looked like Parkside may have an opportunity to take advantage in the second half. But Fallston came out of the gates fired up, and would quickly grab the lead after Maria Gentile would find the back of the net with a header. Shortly after that, a free kick into the box would get knocked home by Alicyn Lose. Cougars would add one more before it was over as they would roll to the win.
