Nov. 15 – Delmarva Partnership Scholarship

Salisbury University is offering a $5,000 annual scholarship for residents of Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Virginia to pursue their first bachelor’s degree at the campus.

“We are committed to providing access to an exceptional and affordable college education to students from neighboring states in the Delmarva region,” said Aaron Basko, assistant vice president for enrollment management.

Recipients of the Delmarva Partnership Scholarship must have a home address in Delaware or in Accomack or Northampton counties in Virginia; maintain full-time enrollment at SU by completing 24 credits per academic year and having satisfactory academic progress; and meet admissions criteria.

The new award is available to both freshmen and transfer students who be enrolling as undergraduates at SU for the first time in spring 2016 or later. It is renewable for eight semesters. Valued at $2,500 per semester, it currently covers approximately 60 percent of the difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition.
