Nov. 11 – SU: Know Your Rights

Communication students at Salisbury University will be putting on a conference on November 12, 2015 from 5:30 – 8:30 in Fulton Hall 111, to educate students as well as the surrounding community on knowing their rights fully, and what they can do if faced with the law.

The conference will have Salisbury Mayor Jake Day, as well as city council member Muir Boda present to speak on the political side of the law. Salisbury Police officers will be in attendance to explain the enforcement side of knowing your rights. Mitch’s Martial Arts will also be present to teach some simple self defense techniques that could help save a life. The conference will also have refreshments as well as raffles.
