Milford woman accused of threatening to kill mother and daughter

Jakea N. Chandler, 24, of Milford, Del.

A Milford woman is facing charges, after Police say she threatened to kill a mother and daughter, at a local convenience store.

Milford Police say on November 5, 24-year-old Jakea Chandler walked up to a 29-year-old woman, and her 5-year-old daughter, as they were walking into the Market Place Convenience Store on NW Front Street, and started curing at the pair. Police say Chandler also threatened to kill the 29-year-old, and then hurt her daughter too, before fleeing.

Chandler had reportedly been court ordered not to have any contact with the woman, stemming from a June incident where Chandler attacked her.

On November 10, Chandler was arrested, and charged with two counts of terroristic threatening, harassment and breach of conditions of bond. She was then ordered to be held on a $7,500 secured bond at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution.
