Man accused of stabbing mother in Wicomico County court

22-year-old Conner Salmon, the man accused of reportedly stabbing his mother with a screw driver and threatening to set their house on fire, appeared in the Wicomico County District Court for a preliminary hearing Thursday morning.

Salmon’s mother was also in court where she requested the judge lift the no contact order between herself and her son. She wants to be able to visit him in jail.

The judge lifted the order, provided that there would be no violent behavior. The state plans to take Conner Salmon’s case to a grand jury.

He’s been charged with first and second degree assault, and attempted first degree murder along with several other charges. He’s scheduled to be back in district court on November 19th and is still being held without bond.
