Laurel Police investigate armed robbery
Laurel Police are investigating after a reported armed robbery of a Dollar General Store early Sunday morning.
According to police, the robbery happened just before 8 a.m. Sunday at the Dollar General on Sussex Highway.
Police say a suspect, described as a white male who is approximately 6′ tall, allegedly robbed the store employee before fleeing the store in an easterly direction.
The suspect had a black handgun, according to police.
He was last reportedly seen wearing a black hoodie, a mask or cloth covering the bottom portion of his face and jeans.
This incident remains under investigation.
