Lake captures 5th straight Battle of the Bell win

The Lake Forest Spartans won their fifth consecutive “Battle of the Bell” game over rival Milford, defeating the Buccaneers 39-26, at Briggs Stadium Friday night in Milford.

Trevon Milton led the way for the Spartans with 3 rushing touchdowns, while Noah Feague-Johnson, Amir White, and Ben Moore also chipped in with touchdowns for Lake.

For Milford, Will Kimmel, Brion Murray, and DJ Bowman each scored touchdowns.

The win assures Lake a spot in the Division II playoffs at 8-2, leaving Milford (6-4) to await their postseason fate.
