Information sought on attempted robbery in Seaford

State Police are looking to identify two people who attempted to rob a Seaford deli on Monday night.

Delaware State Police say around 8:10 PM, two men, wearing masks and armed with handgun walked into the Middleford Deli on Middleford Road, and confronted the employee at the register.

The two reportedly demanded money, but fled out the front door, after the clerk informed them that there wasn’t any cash. Police say there were also two other employees present during the incident, but no one was injured.

Troopers describe the suspects as white males, standing about 6′ tall, weighing between 150 and 160 pounds, with one wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a mask over his face and the other wearing tan pants, grey hooded sweatshirt with a green back pack, and a mask over his face, both armed with handguns.
