HERO Day Dog Walk benefits wounded warriors

Despite a rainy morning, the HERO Day Dog Walk was held on Saturday.

This was a 1.5 mile walk that took walkers along the Wicomico River and down the brick-covered Downtown Plaza.    

All proceeds will benefit Warrior Canine Connection. The non-profit that enlists Veterans with PTSD and mild traumatic brain injuries to train service dogs for fellow Wounded Warriors.
