Harrington man accused of assaulting ex and new boyfriend

A Harrington man was arrested on Sunday, after Police say he broke into his apparent ex’s home, and assaulted her and her boyfriend.
Harrington Police say around 1:25 AM, an Officer responded to reports of a domestic dispute in progress on Dorman Street. Once on scene, Police say they fund 35-year-old Joseph Holden outside of the home, being disorderly, and cursing, and took him into custody.
An investigation reportedly revealed that Holden had forced his way into the house, where his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend live. Police say once inside, Holden attempted to assault both the boyfriend, and the ex, before the boyfriend fled.
According to the report, he made his way to the Harrington Police Department to report the incident. During that time, Police say Holden assaulted the female victim, causing non-life threatening facial injuries.
After his arrest, Holden was charged with offensive touching, and criminal trespass first degree, before being released on a $750 unsecured bond.
