HALO and Chick-Fil-A to hold holiday food drive

Thanksgiving is now just a few weeks away, and Salisbury’s HALO shelter is prepping for their season of giving.

On Tuesday November 17th, HALO will be working together with both Chick-Fil-A locations in Salisbury to host a food drive from 5-7 PM.

As if helping those in need during the holiday season wasn’t enough – Chick-Fil-A is offering free milk-shakes for those who donate four or more items.

“If you have peas, or string beans, turkey,” Said HALO executive director Celeste Savage, “we’re asking for what you would have on your table at Thanksgiving.”

In addition, HALO will also be running other programs from Tuesday until the holiday season is over.
