Gofundme page for missing student removed

A Gofundme page has been removed for missing Washington College student Jacob Marberger.

47 ABC spoke with a representative from the school on Friday that says the account was set up by Washington College alumni to raise money to support Marberger’s needs when he comes home.

The rep could not confirm exactly why the page was taken down. Marberger is wanted by police after a reported gun threat.  Out of safety concerns, It has his school will remain closed until after Thanksgiving.

Officials say Marberger hasn’t been seen since 7:30 a.m. Monday leaving the Walmart in Hamburg Pennsylvania in his green 1997 Land Rover.
