Georgetown man accused of stalking woman in Milford

A Georgetown man is facing stalking charges in Milford, after Police say he followed a woman from her job, and shattered her windshield.
Milford Police say on October 26, a 19-year-old woman walked out of work at a local business, and noticed 23-year-old Malcom Bowden, sitting across the street in his vehicle. According to the report, Bowden then followed the woman’s vehicle onto numerous streets, before starting to tailgate her on South Walnut Street.
Police say Bowden then sped up, and passed the victim, before getting in front of her, and slamming on his breaks. Bowden reportedly then stopped, turned his vehicle, and blocked the entire roadway.
The victim had to stop her car to avoid a collision, at which Bowden got out of his vehicle, and tried to get into the victim’s. Police say Bowden couldn’t get in, thanks to her doors being locked, but he then started punching the front windshield, shattering it.
He then apparently fled on foot, but was later apprehended by Police. He was then charged with stalking, reckless endangering 2nd degree, harassment, criminal mischief under $1,000, and disorderly conduct, and later released after posting a $1,600 bond.
