Flames rip through Pocomoke City home

Authorities are investigating after a fire destroyed a home in Pocomoke City on Wednesday.

Pocomoke City Volunteer fire officials responded to a single-floor home on the 2000 block of Clementine Street around 11 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they say fire was burning the front of the home.

Crews were reportedly on the scene for over two hours.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Worcester County Fire Marshal’s office.

No injuries were reported.
