Fenwick Island trots for a good cause

Some people started their Thanksgiving with a little exercise, but for a good cause. Fenwick Island hosted their 8th annual Turkey Trot. This year all the money they received from donations will be donated to the Baby Lowe Fund, which was established after the newborn son of a member of the Fenwick Island Police Department. The newborn Colton Lowe, was diagnosed with a severe congenital condition known as Transposition of the Great Arteries. Colton recently went through a series of surgeries and is doing well.
Organizers of the trot say this is the most support they have received the past eight years.
Cpl. Stephen Majewski, from the Fenwick Island Police Deparment says, “But this year especially because of the baby’s condition we live in such an awesome community that everyone is coming out and showing their support.”
Anyone who is interested in helping the Lowe family can visit any PNC branch and make donations under the name Baby Lowe Account or online under their GoFundMe page.
