Exclusive 2015-2016 Winter Forecast

The winter is approaching and the 47ABC StormTeam has released the exclusive winter forecast.
We’re expecting this winter to have normal temperatures and slightly above normal snowfall due to a few factors including a strong El Nino and a negative NAO.
Snow totals will range between 12-18 inches. Salisbury’s average snowfall is around 10 inches.
The second half of the winter will be the coldest and snowiest with a milder start to winter. Snow chances should continue into March this year.
Of course things could change as we continue to monitor the El Nino, but this is what we’re expecting right now. A lot of storms should come from the south this winter and bring above normal precipitation, but if they collide with enough cold air then we could see a couple good snowstorms.
Be sure to watch the video above, which has a lot more detail.
