Easton man charged with possession of Heroin

Easton PD have charged Sammy Lee Young of Hurlock Maryland with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.

Young and another man, Samuel Wilson of Easton were in a vehicle that was pulled over by police.  A K-9 then conducted a search of the vehicle and alerted officers of controlled dangerous substances inside.  Police found heroin packaged in a way that indicated the intent to distribute.

Young was charged and sent to Talbot County correctional facility held on $30,000 bond.  Wilson was issued a criminal citation.  Both men await trial.
