DSP: Suspect sought in Laurel robbery

Police are searching for a male suspect believed to be connected to the robbery of a Laurel gas station.
The incident reportedly happened around 8:10 p.m. Friday at the Exxon on Sussex Highway.
According to police reports, a man entered the business and confronted a female employee at the counter. We’re told the suspect demanded the cash from the register and the clerk complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect then fled back out of the front door and left in an unknown type vehicle. Police say the employee was uninjured in the incident and no weapon was observed.
Authorities describe the suspect as a black male, between 20 to 27 years old. He is between 5’10” – 6’02” tall, 200-230 pounds, and last reportedly seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Delaware Tech” on the front.
