Dover PD investigate delivery employee robbery

Dover Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

The incident happened around 8:45 p.m. Friday, when a man completed a delivery to a home in the Lake Club Apartment complex.

Police say the victim was approached by two men. One suspect reportedly punched the victim in the face and threw him to the ground.

Both suspects apparently assaulted the man before taking an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing on foot.

Police describe one suspect as a white male with dark hair and the other as a black male who was last reportedly seen wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with a checkered pattern on the hood and blue Nike shoes. The victim stated that both suspects appeared to be in their 20’s.
