Dover mom charged for sexual relationship with daughter’s teen boyfriend

The Smyrna Police Department says they have arrested a 44-year-old Dover woman for having sexual relationship with her daughter’s 13-year-old boyfriend.

According to the report, during the month of March police were alerted to an inappropriate relationship between Elaine Goodman and a 13-year-old male victim. Detectives say they found that Goodman was in contact, through text messages, with her daughter’s boyfriend. Police state that on the night of March 15th, the two met, and engaged in a sexual relationship.

On Wednesday, Goodman was arrested on Moriarty Street in Dover. She is charged with three counts of third rape, fourth degree rape, two counts of second degree unlawful sexual contact, and sexual solicitation of a child. Goodman is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Center in default of $225,000 secured bond, pending future court appearance.
