Dover man behind bars following cocaine arrest

A Dover man is facing charges, after he was apparently found in a hotel with cocaine.

Dover Police say on Monday evening around 5:00 PM, a drug investigation led Officers from the Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime and Street Crimes Units to locate Michael Benson at the Sleep Inn on North DuPont Highway.

Forty one-year-old Benson was reportedly found with 93.5 grams of cocaine, packaged for sale.

He was arrested, and charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of tier 5 quantity cocaine, and possession drug paraphernalia. Benson is now being held on a $60,200 cash bond at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
