Delmar Falls At Home To Milford

The Delmar Wildcats took the field at home against the Milford Buccaneers as the Wildcats looked to avenge last week’s one point loss to Indian River.

The Wildcats got off to a great start shutting out the Bucs while taking a 13-0 lead at half with touchdowns from Jimmy Adkins and DeJour Brown. However, Milford was ready to rally in the second half of the game. The Bucs scored two touchdowns in the third quarter, but failed to complete both two-point conversion attempts. The Wildcats posted one touchdown in the third quarter, but they also missed their extra point kick allowing the Wildcats to remain in the lead, 19-12 after three quarters of play.

In the fourth quarter, Milford scored the only touchdown of the quarter and completed their first two-point conversion of the game to help the Bucs get the win over Delmar, 20-19 the final.
