DelDot reveils new route additions for 2016

A meeting on Monday addressing traffic complaints may bring Delaware residents closer to added bus routes in Sussex County.

According to DelDot spokesman Gregory Layton, there are plans of new routes starting in the new year.         

They’d like to extend the Georgetown-Millsboro flex route by including the Mountaire Plant. Route 215 from Millsboro will also include trips that are in-sync with shift times to the plant. This is an effort to accommodate more employees.

DelDot also says they would like to construct new Park and Ride stops and maintenance facilities.

The meeting was a joint effort by The Shore Democrats and Eastern Sussex Democratic Club.
