Central spoils senior night at Dover

The Sussex Central Golden Knights used a big second half, to defeat the Dover Senators 23-20, on Friday night at Dover High.

Senior running back Ki’Ante Sturgis scored two rushing touchdowns, and his back field mate Kendrique Nocks scored on a 10 yard run late in the third quarter, to seal the win. Dover backup quarterback Mike Williams scored two touchdowns, as starter Triston Harris left in the first half with an injury, and didnt return. Jerry Warren also found the endzone for the Senators.

Sussex Central will host Indian River next weekend, while Dover wraps up their season with a meeting with bitter rival Caesar Rodney.
