Board of Elections release final results for Salisbury

The finalized Salisbury election results have been released, and the outcome has remained the same.

Jake Day who ran unopposed is Salisbury’s new Mayor.

As for the city council for District 1, April Jackson officially beat out incumbent Shanie Sheilds. Muir Boda won in District 2. Incumbent Jack Health took District 3, beating out former councilmen Tim Spies. Jim Ireton won in District four and in District 5, incumbent Laura Mitchell ran unopposed.

The candidates are set to be sworn in on Monday, November 16.
