Ball in BOE’s court for a new W. Salisbury Elementary

The process to get approval for a new West Salisbury Elementary school passed another checkpoint Tuesday according to Wicomico county officials, as the county announced the successful closing of its bond sale.
County officials say that the $2 million the Board of Education requested to get the project for the new school underway was included in the bond sale.
Currently there is no disagreement on the council to continue to move forward with the process.
However county officials say the ball is now in the Board of Education’s court, to now complete the planning stage and come back to the county council.
