Advanced Auto Parts raises funds for late employee

After they lost a dear friend and co-worker, the Advanced Auto Parts in Cambridge, Md. have decided to hold a fundraiser to benefit the family of Don Russ.

The fundraiser will be held Sunday in the Advanced Auto Zone parking lot and will feature a car show, live music and food.

Anyone that wants to register their car will only be required to make a donation of their choice.

All proceeds will go to help Russ’s family deal with his final expenses.

“(He was a) hard worker, been with us for a little over 4 years,” said Rusty Elliott who worked with Russ. “He was a great guy, don talked to everyone that came in here, everyone knew him and looked forward to seeing him.”
