Worcester Co. Humane Soceity to host open house

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and the Worcester County Humane Society is hoping you’ll do just that, at their open house on Saturday, October 24.

All of their available animals, cats and dogs alike, will be out and about in hopes of finding forever homes.

The event will be from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the shelter on Eagles Nest Road in Berlin, and will have lots of activities for kids, a bake sale, and K-9 demonstrations by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. Lunch will also be available for purchase.

Plus, for one day only, the adoption fee for cats will be $25.
