Woodbridge Football Watches Lead Slip Away Late

The Woodbridge football team fell at home Friday night to Saint John Paul Catholic 25-19. The loss drops the Blue Raiders to 2-3 on the year.
Woodbridge would jump out to a quick lead after getting a short touchdown run from Juwan Massey. Shymere Vessels would anchor the defense and help get the back over to the offense. Woodbridge would then march down the field again, and cap off a good drive with another touchdown run. The Wolves would get a score just before half to cut into the deficit. The rain would come in and the game would go through a delay. Once play resumed, the Blue Raiders could never find their footing as they eventually dropped the game.
Woodbridge returns to work next Friday when they travel to play Seaford.
