UPDATE: Eastbound Chesapeake Bay Bridge span reopens after crash

(AP) – Authorities say the eastbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge has reopened after a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned truck stopped traffic for hours.

Video from a traffic camera on the bridge Friday morning showed the rear of the truck hanging over the side of the bridge with a line of cars and trucks stretching out behind it on the span. Emergency workers were on the scene, but the Anne Arundel County Fire Department tweets that no injuries are reported.

The Maryland Transportation Authority says traffic would continue to run in both directions on the westbound span until eastbound delays clear.
