Sturgis, Golden Knights cruise past Riders

The Sussex Central Golden Knights improved to 3-3 on the season, holding down Caesar Rodney with a 28-6 win in Camden Friday night.
Ki’Ante Sturgis had two touchdowns on the night, including a highlight 78-yard punt return for touchdown. The score came as the only points of the first half, with Central taking a 7-0 lead into the break. Sturgis opened up the second half with his second score. After recovering a fumble deep in Riders’ territory, John Morris would make it 21-0 Knights with another score. The teams would trade scores late in the fourth for a 28-6 final.
The win is the second in a row for Sussex Central, they look to make it 3 straight next week at Smyrna, while Caesar Rodney (1-5) travels to Cape.
