Stouffer’s 29 Kills Pace SU Volleyball Past Frostburg

The Salisbury University volleyball team picked up yet another conference win Saturday afternoon when they defeated Frostburg State 3-1 (25-16, 25-19, 25-27, 25-13) The win improves the Sea Gulls to 19-7 on the year.
Salisbury would jump out to a quick lead thanks to their dynamic outside hitter Katie Stouffer. The senior was reading the blocks perfectly all night long, and was hammering shots down the line, and attacking the gaps in the back row as she finished with 29 kills on the day. The Sea Gulls would take the first set and roll in the second before looking to close it out in the 3rd. There though, the Bobcats would come to play, and close out a tightly contest set to pull within 1 set of SU. The Gulls would rebound though and close out the final set for the win. Kelly Surkovich finished with a match high 20 digs, while Sydney Davis would have a team high 3 service aces.
