State Police investigating robbery of gas station

The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery at a gas station in the Christiana area.

Delaware State Police say the robbery happened Friday around 8:45 p.m. at the Sunoco located at 285 Christiana Road. State Police say a man entered the business and demanded cash from the register. The clerk at the register complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. State Police say the suspect fled and that no one was injured.

State Police described the suspect as a black male about 6 feet tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. State Police say he was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black shoes. State Police say the man did not display a weapon or say he had one.
